We got ours rec'd through a friend after a load of trial and error and encountering terrible stylists. First my sister and I went, then my mom, then my dad (because my dad has ~fabulous~ hair), then my brother. She's forty minutes away (and I can only get my hair cut when I'm not at school!) but she's super nice! I'll be totally bummed when she goes on maternity leave.

There's this one place I like, but I can never remember the name of the woman who did my hair, and I haven't seen her since. :(

Oh no! If you can remember the name of the salon, maybe you can look it up on Yahoo!Local or something and one of the reviews will mention her name and jog your memory...?

Proooobably, but it was so long ago. I remember her face, though! And the place in general isn't too bad, either. Though since I'm growing my hair out, I may just ask my mom to cut it.

How long is it right now? Cutting-but-with-layers made mine look a lot better than I think a straight-across cut would.

It's to my shoulders! Maybe an inch or so longer than yours, actually.

Oooh. How long are you growing it out to? I'm basically just dying for the day when I can chopstick it up again.

HAHAHA THAT IS WHAT I'M DYING TO DO WITH IT I don't know how long exactly, but I found all my old chopsticks and I can't wait to put my hair up with them.

YES, ALAS FOR THE DAYS WHEN I COULD JAM SOME PENS IN AND BE DONE WITH IT.

Somehow, when we were traveling I saw soooooooo many gorgeous hair pieces and -- well. I guess I saved a lot of money by not buying them, but I did long for them. :(

My hair hasn't been long enough to do that in a good couple of years, I miss it :(

Hahaha, I went through my sister's collection of hair things and was like, "Wow I miss putting my hair up in these" and I've gotten so used to it being long that I don't think I can chop it up.

I ALMOST kept my hair up the other day with a couple pens; maybe you could do it?

Aaaaah, mine is coarse but I don't have a whole lot of it.
