I like candy canes.

Sniffing peppermint oil feels like shoving a popsicle up your nose.

Peppermint oil is incredibly strong in its pure form. You can put it on a rag on your forehead and it will not only burn your forehead but make your nose run till it's almost completely decongested. You need to thin it with at least 9 parts pure grain alcohol to touch it safely.

FUN FACTS!

I rub it on my stomach when I feel ill and it makes me feel better in a few minutes... but taking it internally is not for the faint of heart or tongue. Also, it's unsafe unless you have medical grade oil that's FDA approved (Young Living FTW)

Actually, you can probably touch it okay, I just know it can cause skin conditions if you let it sit on your skin for too long without cutting it.

Back when I was having really severe migraines, someone suggested putting peppermint oil on my forehead! I have fond memories of it, it actually helped a lot.

Give her this link and tell her to follow the instructions for "tincture!" And this site talks about dermatitis, but it actually burned me when I let it sit on my skin straight one time, so be sure she cuts it with grain alcohol properly. o/
