Between chores in Boulder, I stopped in at my favorite second-hand shop on the off-chance that they'd have any nice sneakers. In the shoe corner, I heard this discussion about zebra-striped heels:

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GIRL: I like these!
MOTHER: They're a little crazy, aren't they?
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GIRL: They're not crazy, they're fierce!

I also tried on a Christian Dior ivory skirtsuit priced at $80 (ffffffffff) and it fit perfectly but I decided that it was too old-lady and let it go. When will this puffy-sleeves trend go back away?!

Also, re-activated my account with the temp agency and got my first big girl doctor today. Goodbye, grandmotherly pediatrician, hello big sisterly internist! Thank you for not laughing when I asked for one of the pokey things they stick on your arm before the shot so it hurts less.

It's one of my favorites! It's more mainstream and less shagadelic than Buffalo Exchange.

... I like Glacier, too. In fact, I think I found the consignment shop because we were at the ice cream place so much.

I would do horrible terrible things to be back right now. I just want to wander all the way up and down 28th and go where I want in any store. ;o;
