What better way to celebrate coming home from Scotland
and finishing Cassie Clare's books, thank you
batman
for putting up with my running commentary
than by posting my seven- and eight-year-old HP Suefic?

I can never figure out how I'm supposed to feel about Cassie Clare's books. Because, like, people whose tastes do not suck have read them and like them!
But then. Then I remember her Draco Trilogy.
And I do not know how to look at those books without wailing "but reading them supports plagiarism!" really loudly.

... does it support piracy if I don't buy them?

In this case I find piracy less objectionable! My literary snobbery, let me show you it.

HAHAHAHA WELL. I did buy the first one. But I prefer sitting around in bookstores and reading to book piracy, actually. Reading books on computers is hard.
Anyway, the Draco Trilogy. Oh man, I loved that thing when I was in middle school. I wanted to be
cool
like
Cassie Clare
! And even now I am jealous of her book deal. :(

I like it in the way that I like KFC. It's bad for me and isn't at all healthy but sometimes it's nice for delicious crap.

I've always been a pretty awful speller.

This sort of makes me want to dig out my old Sue fic, but I'm not sure I can live with the embarrassment. |D;

Bear in mind that this is the fic I revised to be less silly and Sue-ish about a year after I originally wrote it.

At least you were trying ...? I denied accusations that my characters were Sues for several years before discovering Fanfic Rants and caving. :D;

Thankfully (?), I started RPing at Orson Scott Card's official forums, and that got me out of HP fandom until I returned to Deleterius a few years later.
